Latest News - April 2011

There have been a lot of things happening @ Fourhands as usual…We lost another family member to
cancer in Feb. and had to attend the memorial down in Squamish. The bright side of this was all the men
attending demanded to come up on a fishing trip. We are expecting around 18 guys and Dean is taking
them up to Iskut for a week in July. If anybody has a favorite lure for grayling, please let us know ASAP.
We also are the proud owners of a new electric table. We have been busy learning how to use all the
features and it so far has really helped us get into better positions for deeper work and is easier on
our bodies.
Sue has signed up for another course in Pregnancy Massage. It is a Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy
Certification Course. She will be going to the Bastyr University Continuing Education in Seattle, WA,
for this one Aug. 18-23, 2011. The
developer (Carole Osborne-Sheets, www.bodytherapyassociates.com) and teacher (Linda Hickey)
have been practicing and teaching in
this field for years and have a fantastic reputation in this area. It’s a course Sue has been trying to
achieve for 5+ years now and she is
really looking forward to it.
Dean joined the Snow Valley Nordic Ski Club out at Onion Lake in Jan. and has been really enjoying it. He also helps groom the trails and
took the grandkids there for their very 1st skiing. Sue went the last day with the grandkids and wants to start skiing seriously next
season. Cross country skiing is considered to be one of the best ways to get and stay in shape. Check out www.snowvalleynordics.com

We plan on a work trip to Haida Gwaii for the end of May, approx. Hopefully, the travel plans won’t be as crazy as the March trip. The
weather should be better in May/June.
Dean’s work trip to Fort St. James had to be cancelled, so there may be a possibility of another trip planned for there. He does these trips
on his own, so that leaves Sue here to keep up with her clients.
So here’s hoping we have a good spring to get our yard in shape. We didn’t get
much done here last summer, so this might be the year
for it.
